Terms of use
SummaRank is operated by SummaRank LLC. These terms explain the conditions for using our rankings, accounts and community features. Please read them together with our community rules, privacy policy and affiliate and research disclosures. Creating an account or submitting a contribution means accepting these terms and the community rules.
Accounts and eligibility
Accounts are not available to children under 13. If you are under 18, use the service with permission from a parent or legal guardian and follow the teen safeguards. Do not misrepresent your age, identity or authority to represent a company. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
Rankings are information, not professional advice
Rankings use AI-assisted research, available sources and community participation. They may contain errors, incomplete information or outdated claims. Scores are comparisons within a ranking, not guarantees, clinical effectiveness percentages or proof that we personally tested every contender. Check original sources, dates and current provider details before making a decision.
Medical, financial, legal, employment and other high-stakes content is general information, not personalized advice or a professional relationship. Consult an appropriately qualified professional. Prescription medicines require a valid prescription; use only the formulation and dose prescribed by your clinician. Do not delay necessary medical care because of a ranking.
Your contributions and permissions
You retain ownership of the original content you submit. Only submit text, images and other material you have the rights and permissions to share. Obtain appropriate permission from identifiable people in your photos, and do not publish another person’s sensitive information. You are responsible for your contributions and any required relationship disclosures.
By submitting content, you grant SummaRank LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, process, resize, reproduce and publicly display it as part of operating, maintaining and improving the service, including feed posts, comments, profile displays and previews of those contributions. We may use service providers for these purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated sale of your photos.
The permission continues for contributions retained on the service after account deletion. If a contribution is removed, our permission ends except for limited copies needed in backups, to meet legal obligations or resolve security issues. Copies saved or shared by other people may remain outside our control. Our privacy policy explains retention and deletion.
Account deletion and retained contributions
You can permanently delete your account in Profile → Settings → Delete account permanently. This removes sign-in access and profile information but does not automatically remove published posts, comments, replies, ranking votes, write-ins or photos attached to feed posts. Retained contributions are detached from your profile and shown under “Deleted account.” Remove your own feed posts and attached photos before deleting your account if you do not want them retained. After deletion you cannot edit retained contributions or reclaim the account.
If retained content identifies you or requires removal for another reason, contact privacy@contact.summarank.com. We may need to verify a request. These terms do not limit privacy rights provided by applicable law.
Fair participation and acceptable use
Follow the community rules. Do not manipulate votes with multiple accounts, bots or coordinated fake activity; impersonate others; submit unlawful or infringing material; harass people; send spam; bypass age, access, upload or spending limits; or attempt to access someone else’s private data. Do not disrupt the service or probe it destructively. Report security concerns privately to feedback@contact.summarank.com.
Moderation and service limits
We may review, restrict or remove content and suspend or close accounts for rule violations, legal requirements, safety or abuse prevention. Automated safety checks can make mistakes; contact us to request a review. We may limit generation, uploads and other features, including when spending limits are reached. Availability, rankings and features can change, and we do not promise uninterrupted service.
External services and affiliate links
External retailers, pharmacies, booking services and job providers control their own listings, prices, transactions and terms. A search link does not guarantee a matching listing or availability. Some links earn commissions; others are ordinary links. Commissions do not determine research scores or community votes. See our disclosures.
Copyright and other complaints
Send content or copyright concerns to feedback@contact.summarank.com. Include the exact SummaRank URL, the content involved, your contact information and the reason for your request. For copyright concerns, identify the work and explain your ownership or authority to act. Do not submit knowingly false reports. We may remove infringing material and restrict repeat infringers. This contact process is not a claim that a designated copyright agent has been registered.
Disclaimers and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of accuracy, suitability or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring an otherwise valid claim.
Changes and contact
We will update the effective date when these terms change. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention where appropriate; changes do not retroactively take away rights in an existing dispute.
